Director, Legal Service  Department

LLM or LLB Degree in Law with 8years of relevant experience, out of which 3years in managerial position for LLM holder or 10years of relevant experience, out of which 4years in managerial position for LLB Degree holder. Having financial institution experience is advantageous.

     1. Competency in Leadership,

     2. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills,

3. Knowledge on local and international law, various regulations and proclamations, and

   4 Basic computer knowledge.

·   Responsible to plan, guide, monitor and supervise the overall activities of the Department in the provision of advisory services, contracts preparation and updating, litigation, foreclosure processing, negotiation and arbitration in line with the strategic plan of the Bank,

·   Bound to discharge the responsibility of succession planning and talent management of the department so that health growth and functioning of the department is maintained,

·   Provides advisory services on decisive legal matters to the management ranging from branch level to the top management,

·   Responsible to represent the bank in a court of law and semi tribunals in a suit against or in favor of the Bank,

·   Responsible to arrange trainings that protects the Bank from legal risks, and

·   Responsible for enabling or conducting continues legal research so that the legal services of the Bank becomes up to date, efficient, time saving and economic.
